I Don't Know Why He Tries This With Me
I am from the united states. I love to be around my friends and can be very shy. My friends are my entire life and i would give anything for them.
My best friend and I were out with a few friends and we got to talking about sex. Now when we are alone together we fool around but we never have had sex. But recently he tried to have sex with me, and I didn't want to ruin that for him. I told him no, but he kept up. I finally gave in and I don't know why he tries this with me. I have tried talking to him about it, and he always says that it is out of fun. That is all. We are still very close. We are Best Friends.
I sometimes feel like I can't be around other guys because I would be ofending him. But now I know that I respect myself more than he respects me or else I am more likely to give in to anything. I wonder why he only does this to me, and what does this say about me and my future.

Friendship is like a dance. You have to work together to make it work. Respect is a big part of making sure you don’t end up knocking each other over. That includes respecting each other’s standards. This is where the Golden Rule comes in. Loving others as we love ourselves means the same thing as respect. If someone doesn't respect the fact that sex is supposed to be saved for the one person you marry, then they are not thinking about the other person's good.
