I'm Scared, What If He Asks For Sex?
I'm a 19 year old Ghanaian and I really love my family.
Some few months ago, a guy i had secretly loved for close to 2 years asked me out and i agreed to be his girlfriend. We never really talked about our stands on issues like premarital sex. But i always thought he was against it.
Just recently, we were talking over the phone and the sort of things he was saying made me real uncomfortable. All of a sudden, all i have on my mind is how it would feel like to have sex with him. I am a virgin. I am also against premarital sex but I'm scared I might not be able to stand my grounds and tell him no if he asks for sex. So the first step i took was to look for a website that would help me in a positive way. That's how i got to share my story. Reading others stories has given me the inner strength to always be ready to say no to premarital sex.
Since ours is a long distance relationship, he's not yet asked for sex from me. He also is a virgin. I have decided to let him know about what i think of premarital sex so that when we are no longer separated by distance, he would not tell me it is because i don't love him that i am saying no.
I now feel more in control.

It is really great to know that a lot of teenagers still believe in the sanctity of sex and marriage. Sex is a gift from God to two people who are united by Him in marriage. That is the ultimate purpose why He created it.
Virginity until marriage really pays off. Divorce rate once married is reduced to half when you preserve your virginity until marriage. Isn’t that wonderful? There's also a great saying that goes like this, “Virginity is like a bubble, once you pop it, it is gone forever.” So, make sure to wait for the right and perfect time before the bubble is popped.
