I'm a Fish Out of Water
I am a Chinese living in India. My own life and God is important to me.
My problem is that I feel like an alien in an Indian school because I am a Chinese.
Nobody has ever talked to me and neither have I talked to anybody. I have no friend. Then I fell in love with a boy but I could never tell him because I had no courage to do so.
Of course, that made me feel more isolated and i could do nothing about it. Now I think I'm living a lonely life and I believe that I have already gotten used to it.
Nothing has ever changed. I'm still here in India and feeling lonely.

It is really hard to be in a new place without someone we know and who knows us also. You're like a fish out of water. But did you notice that when a fish is out of its habitat, it keeps on moving to find water? So the same thing should go for us, we have to and can do something about it. It is said that it takes one to know one. That means it takes being a friend to know a friend. Keeping a friend means being a friend. Reach out to your classmates, know their names and find the things that are common among you. In a few days time, you will realize that you have friends more than you have even expected. Jesus has given us a guideline in Section 3.31 of the Book of Hope on what to do in situations like this.
