God Wants Me to Turn Back to Him
I’m from the Philippines. I've got a crush on somebody whose religion is different from mine. I know we have different beliefs and/or practices. One of my friends told me to convert to this guy's religion so I could relate well with him. I didn't, I would never give up my religion just for a guy. But then, I was confused, I asked, "Should religion be a barrier?"
I prayed and asked God for his guidance. What was His purpose why I met this guy? I was hoping then that someday I would know and understand His plans for me. I put my trust to God that whatever happens, His plans for me would still come to pass.
Now, I already know God's reason why I met this guy. When I was in high school, I forgot my Creator. I seldom read my Bible and prayed to Him. Through my crush I realized that God really loves me. He just wanted me to come back and praise Him again. I am a good girl now. My life is enlightened now. I believe God has wonderful plans for me, I'll just let them happen in my life.

Oftentimes, we are confronted with circumstances that seem so uncalled for. When everything appears to be fine, suddenly problem occurs. Our first reaction usually is to ask God why. We hardly ever know that God in His manifold wisdom is working all these negative situations for our own good.
It’s nice to note that it didn’t take you a long time before realizing God’s wonderful purpose in that episode of your life. Yes, it’s true, God wants you to turn back to Him, and He will use even very unlikely instruments just to catch your attention. In Section 4.47 of Book of Hope Jesus told us why it is expedient for us to turn back to God. Read it and learn from it.
