We, male and female, are created by God equally. When God formed Adam, He saw that Adam needed a helpmate so He gave him Eve. Together, they were given the authority to subdue the earth. God’s idea is for both of them to enjoy His creation and each other’s fellowship. However, when mankind fell to sin, everything changed and that included how the females are being treated by the males. Nevertheless, when Jesus came, He didn’t only pay for the penalty of our sins but He restored back God’s original design for both men and women, which is to be righteous before His sight and to treat each other with love and respect. You may have had a bad experience but don’t let this thing overcome you. Remember that when you made Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, He didn’t only forgive you; He has also cleansed you and set you free from your past. Please read Section 4.32 of Book of Hopeand realize that if the Son has set you free, then you are free indeed!
